Meet Erin

Erin Riley, M.Sc.A., SLP(C), Reg. CASLPO

I have been practicing speech-language pathology since 2019. I earned my bachelor’s degree in linguistics from Carleton University, and my master’s degree in speech-language pathology from McGill University. I worked for five years at a neurological rehabilitation clinic in the lower mainland of British Columbia, and now I’ve come home to Ontario to serve families in the Kingston area.

I am certified by Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC/OAC) and registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).

I am passionate about individualized treatment and adamant that one size does not fit all when it comes to therapy. So much comes down to finding the right source of motivation to make progress with speech/language goals.

Some of my primary areas of interest are working on conversation skills with those with social language obstacles (such as in autism spectrum disorders), stuttering, speech sound pronunciation, and rehabilitation of speech, language, and language-related executive function (organization) after stroke or traumatic brain injury.

My office is a welcoming, inclusive environment for people of all genders and orientations.
